...to write.
I'm not sure where to start or really what caused the inspiration.
Maybe it's sleep. Reese is 11 months old and finally on a good schedule. So what if she still wakes up once a night? It's a schedule and I'm down with it.
Maybe it's spring. Spring and Fall are my favorites. I seems to find new inspiration when the flowers bloom and when the leaves change colors. I've always been a visual person. Does that make me superficial? Probably but I'm down with it.
Maybe it's because Jessica Simpson had her baby this week.
Nah.
That's not it. At all.
I kid. I kid.
Actually, I'm pretty sure that the good Lord whispered in my ear today. He said, "It's time for you to write."
And so, I write; I'm down with it.
In my last post, I wrote that my goal for 2012 was to be intentional. I am proud to report that I have been very intentional. My time has been spent with friends, family and my two favorite girls of all time.
God is so good to me. He has blessed me with so much and I don't thank Him enough.
Here are some pictures of the last few months. The first one is from my phone and it's super-grainy...but I love it anyway. This was Reese's first popsicle!! She has the best big sister!!

Can someone tell me how this child is already 11 months old? It's time to plan a FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Do y'all have any ideas? Suggestions?

Hi, Erin from Central NC! I am from those parts too! Nice to "meet" you. I am not a very social blogger...I do it more for the preserving of memories for my kiddos! I have two kids as well (boys though). I love that God's love shines through your blog and hope that you will be blessed because of it...well, I can see that you are already are! Those pics of your girls are too cute...love the one of her splashing in the tub. My littlest one (he just turned a year old) can make the biggest mess in the tub splashing water everywhere. Haha! Where in Central NC? I am in Lenoir, NC and blog for the same reason and I am also 31 with a 3 1/2 little boy:)
Oh, your girls are so cute! I have no ideas about parties...when my boys were little it was all family and kids on the block over for cake and ice cream and that was about it! Times have changed in the party area!
Yay for writing and double yay for ms thang's birthday! Whatever you plan will be just right, I do know that! And, another thing I know for sure?-You will not lack in the decorations dept. You have my love and prayers
